I was tagged about this notes in my facebook, I thought I want to share it here.

Yes about 3 years.

Excited, nervous, looking forward to welcoming my baby.

5. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT?
Sign of morning sickness and tiredness plus pregnancy test kit and confirmation of gynae, we were kiasu. :D

6. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST?
Papa

7. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX?
Yes, but I knew that I could not do that until at least in the 2nd trimester.

8. DUE DATE?
Hm... I think it was 20 March 2007 - this is suppose to be how much I remember, so I can't check, right?

9. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN?
12 March 2007 @ 9:45 am - I can confirm the date, but only about 98% sure on the time, hope I did not remember wrongly.

10. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH?
2.89kg - Well, I have poor memory on number, please do allow me to update later if this is wrong. :P

11. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS?
Yes, very seriously. Papa wanted me to go for Chinese doctor to check if I was alright, there was once that all the throw up I had was orange in color as I was eating orange prior to that. Sorry that it is disgusting to describe it here.

12. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE?
Carrot cake at my home town Batu Pahat, we planned for the trip back (about 2 hours drive) and by the time I had it, I did not feel that it was really nice at that moment and I understood completely that it was really only craving.

The other thing was orange, but too bad, ZX seems to dislike orange, every time I ate orange, I will throw up very badly.

Somehow, I dislike anything with sweet taste prior to my first pregnancy, but now, I do like things with sweet taste. Strange, this is the part I do not quite understand.

13. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST?
Papa... at sometimes, I guess he was nervous and did not know what to do then. I was quite bad-tempered and small issues will irritate me easily. I was hoping for his understanding and extra caring. But I guess he did not quite get it at sometimes. From time to time, I kept on hinting him that I might have pre-natal depression but he was telling that he thought I was having pre-natal manic depression. Anyway, it was all over. :)

14. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX?
Boy

15. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING?
Yes, but I hold on to my thoughts and I did not want my baby to think that I did not like him. :)

16. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY?
12kg, with the end of my breast feeding, I do feel that my weight is picking up very fast nowadays. Oops!

17. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER?
No, but we did receive baby clothes from my sis and SIL.

18. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW?
You mean the pregnancy or what?

19. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY?
Not complication but I had threatening abortion during my 1st and 2nd trimester. I was told not to exercise and during my 2nd trimester, I thought I should at least have some walking, I was admitted for a night after I took bus home with a laptop from my MIL's place, I had to completely rest on bed as told by the doctor for more observation.

20. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH?
Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.

21. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR?
Around 6 hours, from the time I was waken up during middle of the night (around 3 am++) due to the pain till I heard my baby crying.

22. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL?
Papa... it was peak hour on the route we took, I wished I had a direct flight from my home to the hospital then. :D Later on I realized that ambulance should be available, right? But not sure if I have the right to ask for it though.

23. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH?
Papa... Dr Fong and a mid-wife, Dr Fong kept walking in and out from the ward till he lost his patience(?) :D
He asked if I would need help, I could not answer him (and perhaps it was too late before I could understand what help he was giving before he walked away) as I thought I have no strength to speak then.

24. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION?
Natural with assisted.

25. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN?
No, was laughing gas counts? But I did ask for epidural during my labour pain, the mid-wife said it was too late to have it then as it will take 1 or 2 hours for the effect to kick in, by the time the anesthetist came, I might have already delivered.

27. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN TODAY?
23 months, 2 days.
