My One Year Old

How time flies, it’s one year now since little ZX was born.  We celebrated his one year old birthday at around Christmas time.  Yes, he was born on Christmas eve.  How nice. :) I just hope that when he grows older, he will not complain that he only receive one gift for two special days.  You know what I mean. ;)

 

He now walks with walker steadily.

He walks a few steps ‘unwillingly’ as he is a bit afraid of falling down.

He crawls fast enough that before you walk from the living room to the kitchen, he is already out from the bedroom to his walker in the living hall.

He points to all the small things on the floor and ‘insists’ that you pick them up before he proceeds.

He eats quite a portion for his meal.

I am not quite sure if we should start worrying as he has not started to greet us ‘mama’ nor ‘’papa’, but for sure, he make noise like ‘dada’.

Every time we mention the ‘cane’ thingy, he is able to point to the exact location where we keep the thing.

He knows where the fan is when we mention it at home.

He smiles a lots since birth.

He cries and becomes cranky when he is sick.

He moves his hand with the rhythm whenever he hears music.

He can differentiate what tastes good or bad.

He likes to play with his brother.

He bites hard when his toys were being snatched away by his brother.

He puts almost everything he grabs with his hand into his mouth to taste them.  I wonder if it tastes good.

He claps when you ask him to do so.

He holds my legs tightly even after I return from a long day of tiring work.

He is learning, just like what his brother was doing 3.5 years ago and the process continues…
