Day 7 of CNY

Monday, February 2, 2009

This Chinese New Year with ZX is a bit different. Well, not that he was not with me last year, but at this moment, he ‘understands’ more than what he saw last year and he can actually recognizes most of the things as I told him.

It was day 7 of CNY yesterday. As tradition, we went out for dinner and Yusheng. Luckily, it was not crowded and the queue was short when we reached the restaurant. However, we still waited for at least 20 minutes before our dinner was served. Also, Yusheng could only be served at the end of the course instead of as the first dish. :( -- Not an ideal scenario, but no choice.

We usually do not allow ZX to play with any cutlery except when he is really eating, but since we were doing “Yusheng”, so it was an exception. :)

He was so excited when he was allowed to hold the chopsticks. However, I could sense that he was so puzzle when he saw four adults doing the “strange things”. :D

Mama, what are you all doing?

May I join?

Sure, we let him hold the chopsticks and surprisingly he was able to place something onto our plate. :) Hurray! For ZX. ;)
