Hair Cutting
Wednesday, May 26, 2010
I can still remember the moment when ZX was crying whenever he went for his hair cut. From struggling on our lap till requesting hair cut on his own, I realize suddenly that my darling has grown up [ read: not shy ].
Sometimes, it is much more easier if you were to do it / involve in something that you want your kids to do as well. For this case, part of the reason why ZX wanted the hair cut desperately was because I myself was having my hair cut and ZX was sitting beside me to watch all the way. This is different from the previous cases which we simply brought him to the saloon and asked the “aunties” to cut his hair.
Having a second thought, would you expect your kids to eat healthy food while they have seen you eating the unhealthy fast food? Or would you rather hide the food and eat them only when your kids are asleep? ;)

Oh, recently my boy also willing to let the aunty cut his hair. I also felt that he grown up already. haha...and yes, he saw me cutting hair too.
Errmm....i used to do that when comes to eating junk food. I love junk food but never let my kids eat them. haha....so i will normally eat in the office.
I see, I guess kids just like to follow what the adults are doing. So we will have to hide to do some "bad" things sometimes. :D
I share it with Chloe, am I a bad mum?
I love junk food, how to hide???
Oh dear, I have given in to letting my elder one eat fries lately. Shaker fries too (amazingly he doesn't seem to mind the spicyness.
By the way, I don't think my boy will ever take a picture like that cutting hair with such a wide grin on his face.
lazymummy - You are not, I love junk food also, some days later, ZX will sure eat junk food as I expect, I can't control him forever. :)
Daphne - I have given fries to ZX before too as I think he deserves something that all kids like but as he has bad cough for long period, we have to really restrict his diet.
