When the King of the House Put on His Crown

[ Lately, ZX has brought a lots of arts and craft back home from his nursery school.  This is one of the most recent “product” he brought home. ]

Delay in bathing, refuse to finish his meal, refuse to sit by the table during his whole meal, etc.  We have to get used to his bad temper ever since little ZX was born.  Situation became better only when our patience became better.

I was very prone to threaten ZX with cane whenever I lost my patience on him.  I realized that was quite bad in fact.  Kids should be brought up in a peaceful and happy environment for a better immune system.
 
I learnt and realized from my mother that as a parent, we should always show our greatest patience to our kids from small things such as having a meal properly by the table to things that could affect their life in the future.  We need to show our greatest patience in teaching them the right way in any case.  After all, patience is the key ingredient to parenting as I thought at the moment. 

Try recalling if you were treated the same way when you were as a kid.  Hold your temper for a few seconds and recall if it were you and your parents, will they do the same thing to you?
